About the role
The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) registered nurse in Hood River, Oregon. This position involves providing patient care primarily on the telemetry unit, with responsibilities including interpreting and managing telemetry monitoring. The role requires flexibility to float between units based on department needs and includes rotating shift coverage.
Schedule
- Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Must be willing to work a mix of shifts and weekends
- Commit to working at least three of the five major holidays
- Orientation hours totaling 40
Responsibilities
- Interpret and manage telemetry monitoring
- Provide patient care on the telemetry unit
- Float between units based on department needs
- Float to nearby affiliate hospitals
Requirements
- One (1) year of recent experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing
- Current BLS certification
- Valid Oregon nursing license
- Experience with charting in Epic electronic medical record system
- Must have a vehicle for this assignment
- Provide two references covering the past three years, with at least one year of clinical experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a Critical Access or Level III Trauma Center
- Familiarity with interdisciplinary support services such as respiratory, radiology, and pharmacy

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
