Travel Medical-Surgical RN - $2,195 per week

About the Role

The medical surgical floor registered nurse (RN) position is located in Papillion, Nebraska. The role involves providing care to adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting. The RN will be integrated into the team and participate in classroom and on-floor orientation to ensure a smooth transition into the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting
• Float to emergency room if needed
• Participate in unit-specific orientation
• Perform duties in accordance with department policies and procedures

Schedule

• Night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts
• 13-week duration, starting 08/31/2026
• Up to 7 days of Request for Time Off (RTO) allowed within the 13-week contract; additional RTO requests will not be approved

Requirements

• Valid nursing license
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required
• ACLS certification preferred
• 1 year of relevant RN experience
• Driver’s license required at submittal
• Must pass a skills exam with a score of at least 90%
• Must comply with the radius rule of 50 miles
• May not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with facilities associated with the organization
• Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas

Other Details

• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 during days and 1:5 during nights
• Charge nurses and nurse aides present on each shift
• Scrubs provided in navy blue
• Orientation includes classroom sessions and one on-floor shift
• Charting system: EPIC
