Travel Medical Surgical RN - $2,195 per week

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care during the day shift. This is a 13-week travel contract position with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts (07:00 AM - 07:30 PM).

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical/surgical unit.
• Monitor patient health and vital signs, administer medications, and manage IV therapy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care delivery.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatments and health conditions.
• Document patient care and progress in the electronic health record using Epic.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and quality care standards.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or a compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Clinical Practice Improvement (CPI) certification preferred.
• 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required.
• Experience with electronic health records, particularly Epic, is preferred.
