About the role
This position involves providing high-quality care to adult and pediatric patients in a designated medical surgical unit. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Provides nursing care to adult and pediatric patients with common diagnoses such as UTI, altered mental status, pneumonia, and COPD within a 17-bed unit.
- Floats to Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit for 1:1 patient care as needed.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience relevant to the role.
- Certifications: BLS, PALS.
- Must submit licensure and certifications to be considered.
Schedule
- Nights, 12-hour shifts.
- Minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 during the day and 1:5 at night.
