About the role
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units as a travel Med Surg/Tele RN.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment
- Prepare patients for procedures and diagnostic tests
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols
Requirements
- At least one year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Current BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- NIHSS certification
- ACLS certification
Skills
- Strong clinical skills and critical thinking
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Technical proficiency in medical equipment and EHR systems
- Physical capability to lift, move, and assist patients
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
