Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN

About the role

Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, monitoring cardiac data, administering medications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Conduct patient assessments and document vital signs and care outcomes
• Prepare patients for diagnostics and assist with treatments
• Maintain a safe environment and ensure infection control protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and manage multiple patients efficiently
• Facilitate discharge planning and advocate for patient needs

Requirements

• Recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience
• Valid RN license and current BLS certification
• Strong clinical, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to perform essential duties and work with equipment
• Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and maintain professionalism
