Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN

About the Role

Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans, educate patients and families, and ensure safety and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and monitor cardiac telemetry
• Administer medications and document care
• Explain procedures and address patient concerns
• Administer treatments and monitor patient responses
• Conduct assessments, document findings, and report changes
• Assist physicians and prepare patients for diagnostics
• Maintain a safe, comfortable environment and ensure infection control
• Manage multiple patients efficiently and advocate for patient needs
• Facilitate discharge processes and coordinate with care teams
• Perform other duties within scope of practice, adhering to safety and regulatory standards

Requirements

• One year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
