Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN

About the role

We are seeking a Med Surg/Tele RN to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. The role involves assessing patient conditions, monitoring cardiac telemetry, administering medications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and monitor cardiac telemetry
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Provide patient education and support
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Prepare patients for procedures and diagnostic tests
• Ensure safety and infection control standards are met
• Facilitate discharge planning and transitions of care

Requirements

• At least one year of recent Med Surg/Tele experience
• Valid RN license
• Current BLS certification

Qualifications (Preferred)

• NIHSS certification
• ACLS certification
