About the Role
Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units as a Travel Med Surg/Tele RN.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and monitor cardiac telemetry
- Administer medications and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families and document care
- Prepare patients for procedures and manage multiple patients
- Ensure infection control and advocate for patient needs
- Facilitate discharge planning and adhere to safety protocols
- Provide comprehensive nursing care and ensure patient safety
- Maintain accurate documentation and support patient discharge and education
Requirements
- One year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical, technical, mental, and sensory abilities required to perform duties effectively
