About the role

This is a 13-week contract position with potential for extension. We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Telemetry team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical-surgical telemetry nursing and will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care.

Schedule

• Night shift, 3 × 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and ECG rhythms.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Current American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Recent experience with Epic charting within the last 6 months.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
