About the role

The Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a telemetry unit. The RN will utilize their clinical skills and knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, identifying any changes or concerns.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and care techniques.
• Document patient care and responses in accordance with facility policies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience is required.
• Active and valid Ohio RN license or compact license in hand is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required.

Schedule

• 13-week contract position.
• 36 hours per week.
• Day shifts: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30).
