Travel Med Surg Telemetry RN - $2,121 per week

About the role

The Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting. Responsibilities include monitoring and assessing patients' vital signs and telemetry readings, administering prescribed medications and treatments, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, educating patients and families, and documenting care activities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and telemetry readings.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with medical and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care procedures.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• One professional reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty required.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with night shift schedules (3x12-Hour: 19:00 - 07:30).
