Travel Med/Surg Telemetry RN - $2,121 per week

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This position requires ongoing patient assessment, medication administration, and understanding of telemetry monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Utilize telemetry equipment for continuous monitoring of patient condition.
• Document patient care and progress using designated charting systems.

Requirements

• A minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.
• Permanent Ohio RN license or a Compact State license in hand.
• Active American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification to be obtained prior to start.
• Two references from a managerial level in the specialty are required for submission.

Pay

The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

This is a night shift position, requiring three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
