About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. This is a 13-week travel contract position with a schedule of three 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM) per week, totaling 36 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and interventions appropriately.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment options.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Active permanent Ohio license or compact license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required for submission.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
