Travel Med Surg RN

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
• Assess patient conditions, monitor cardiac telemetry, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Explain procedures, administer medications, conduct assessments, and prepare patients for diagnostics.
• Maintain a safe environment, document patient information, and ensure infection control practices.
• Advocate for patient needs, facilitate discharge planning, and perform duties within scope of practice.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• One year of recent Med Surg RN experience.
• Valid RN license and current BLS certification.
• Critical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, PC skills, and effective communication.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and maintain attention to detail.
