Travel Med Surg RN

Role Overview: A Travel Med Surg RN provides high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, monitoring cardiac telemetry, administering medications, preparing patients for procedures, documenting care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans. Qualifications & Skills: Requires at least one year of recent Med Surg RN experience, a valid RN license, and current BLS certification. Preferred certifications include NIHSS and ACLS. Proficiency in English, PC skills, and sensory acuity are also necessary. Key Duties: Explain procedures, administer treatments, assess and document patient status, assist in diagnostics, ensure safety, advocate for patients, and coordinate discharge.
