Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor cardiac telemetry
- Administer medications and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for diagnostics
- Ensure safe, comfortable recovery environments
- Document patient information accurately and advocate for patient needs
- Facilitate discharge planning
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Requirements
- At least one year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Preferred certifications: NIHSS and ACLS
