Travel Med-Surg Cardiac Floor RN - $2,435 per week

Job Summary

Medical Surgical Cardiac Floor nurse position located in Fargo. This role involves providing patient care on a 32-bed unit, with the flexibility to float to other medical/surgical units across multiple Sanford Medical Centers. Candidates will work 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend and holiday, with schedules potentially rotating between day and night shifts based on unit needs.

Required Qualifications

• Active North Dakota (ND) or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license (willing to obtain)
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• NIHSS certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical (MS) experience in a large hospital setting (250+ beds)
• Experience with electronic medical records (Epic), Omnicell medication dispensing system, and Alaris intravenous (IV) pumps
• Must badge in and out at the facility

Preferred Qualifications

• Cardiac experience, preferred but not required

Additional Information

• Float to all units/locations within the Fargo medical centers as needed
• Types of procedures include assessments, documentation, nursing tasks, and medication administration
• Equipment utilized: Epic EMR, Omnicell, and Alaris IV pumps
• Scrub color: navy blue
• Primary unit bed size: 32 beds
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 4-5:1 on day shift, 5-6:1 on night shift
• Previous employees must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
• New graduates are not eligible
• Start date: 09/14/2026
• End date: 12/14/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
