Travel Med-Surg Cardiac Floor RN - $2,400 per week

About the role

Medical Surgical Cardiac Nurse located in Fargo, working in a 32‑bed unit within a large hospital setting. Provides specialized nursing care for cardiac patients, focusing on assessments, documentation, medication administration, and use of electronic medical records systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments
• Document care and interventions
• Administer medications
• Utilize Epic electronic medical records system
• Operate Omnicell medication dispensing systems

Requirements

• Active or willingness to obtain North Dakota or Compact Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a large hospital setting
• Current license to practice nursing in the state
• Minimum of 1 year of experience

Qualifications

Recent experience working in a hospital with 250+ beds; willingness to float across units within the Fargo facility as needed.

Skills

• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Experience with Omnicell medication dispensing
• BLS and NIHSS certified
• Strong assessment, documentation, and medication administration skills

Schedule

12‑hour night shifts, every other weekend and holiday, with a minimum of 36 hours per week; schedule may rotate between days and nights depending on unit needs and staffing.
