Travel Med-Surg Cardiac Floor RN - $2,050 per week
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical - Cardiac at a healthcare facility in Joplin, Missouri. This position involves providing patient care on a surgical cardiac floor, utilizing the nursing process to deliver compassionate and effective treatment. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and ensuring adherence to hospital standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care on a surgical cardiac floor
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver compassionate and effective treatment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
- Adhere to hospital standards
- Float as needed
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system
- Work at least one major holiday per year
- Work every other full weekend unless otherwise arranged
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- BLS certification
- 2+ years of nursing experience
- Current flu vaccination (from November 1 to April 1)
- Experience in Med Surg - Cardiac
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing post-cardiac surgery, cardiac, and general medical patients
- Patient-focused team player
Schedule
- Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
- 36 hours per week minimum
- Start date: 08/24/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks (up to 26 weeks with options for extension)
- Candidates may request time off up to five days every 13 weeks with management approval
