Travel Med-Surg Cardiac Floor RN - $2,395 per week

About the role

Medical Surgical Cardiac Floor nurses are needed for a 32‑bed unit in Fargo, North Dakota. The role focuses on patient assessments, medication administration, and documentation, with flexibility to float across various med/surg units at multiple Fargo locations. Shifts may rotate between day and night.

Schedule

12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week, every other weekend and holiday. Rotation between days and nights based on unit needs. Self‑scheduling is encouraged, with guaranteed days off outlined in the contract.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and document findings.
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures.
• Adapt to different units as needed, with an emphasis on cardiac care.
• Badge in and out of the facility and wear navy blue scrubs.
• Float to all units in the Fargo medical centers as required.

Required qualifications

• Active North Dakota (ND) or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• At least 2 years recent medical‑surgical nursing experience in a large hospital setting.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• NIHSS certification or willingness to obtain prior to start.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.

Preferred qualifications

• Cardiac nursing experience.
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record system.
• Familiarity with Omnicell and Alaris IV pumps.
• Experience assessing, documenting, and completing nursing tasks including medication administration.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
