Travel Long Term Care RN

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Long Term Care RN for a travel assignment in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to residents, including assessing health status, developing and updating care plans, administering medications and treatments, and supervising nursing staff. The RN collaborates with healthcare teams, educates residents and families, documents care, responds to emergencies, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• At least one year of recent experience in a long-term care setting
• Valid RN license according to state regulations
• Current BLS/CPR certification

Preferred Skills

• ACLS certification and other facility-specific credentials

Key Duties

• Assess and monitor resident health, implement care plans, and administer treatments
• Supervise and support nursing staff, delegate tasks appropriately
• Educate residents and families about care and chronic condition management
• Maintain accurate documentation and coordinate with healthcare professionals
• Respond effectively to emergencies, ensuring resident safety
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory protocols
