About the role
We are seeking a skilled Long Term Care RN for a travel assignment to provide comprehensive nursing care in a facility setting.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and monitoring residents' health, updating care plans, and administering treatments and medications
- Supervising nursing staff, including LPNs and CNAs, and delegating tasks appropriately
- Providing resident and family education on treatments and managing chronic conditions
- Responding to emergencies and coordinating with healthcare teams for comprehensive care
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards
- Documenting care activities and resident progress accurately
Qualifications and skills
- One year of recent RN experience in long-term care
- Valid RN license and current BLS/CPR certification
- Critical thinking, strong interpersonal, technical, and motor skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, work under pressure, and handle physical demands
Preferred qualifications
- ACLS certification and additional facility-specific certifications
