Travel Long Term Care RN

About the role

Long Term Care RN responsible for providing skilled nursing care in a facility setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor residents' health, developing and updating individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments, including wound care and IV therapy.
• Supervise and support nursing staff, delegating tasks appropriately.
• Educate residents and families on treatments and chronic condition management.
• Document care, resident progress, and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• One year of recent LTC RN experience and valid RN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification; ACLS preferred.
• Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist residents.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and technology use.
• Ability to work under pressure, handle irregular schedules, and maintain focus.
