About the role
Provide skilled nursing care in long-term care facilities, including assessing residents, developing care plans, administering treatments, supervising staff, educating residents and families, documenting care, responding to emergencies, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Monitor resident health and implement personalized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments
- Supervise nursing staff and ensure quality care delivery
- Educate residents and families on health management
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care
- Follow safety protocols and respond to emergencies
Requirements
- At least one year of recent Long-Term Care (LTC) RN experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS or CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification or other facility-specific certifications
