About the Role
Provide skilled nursing care in a long-term care facility setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health and develop individualized care plans
- Administer treatments and medications
- Monitor resident conditions and respond to emergencies
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff
- Educate residents and families on care and health management
- Document all care provided in accordance with regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate resident-centered care
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols
Key Duties
- Oversee resident care and perform skilled nursing procedures
- Delegate tasks to support staff and ensure timely completion
- Provide education to residents, families, and staff
- Ensure resident safety and well-being
- Coordinate with medical professionals to deliver high-quality care
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid RN license
- Minimum one year of long-term care experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Technical and physical abilities required for patient care
Preferred: ACLS and other advanced certifications.
