Travel Long Term Care RN

About the Role

Provide skilled nursing care in a long-term care facility setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient health and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer treatments and medications
  • Monitor resident conditions and respond to emergencies
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff
  • Educate residents and families on care and health management
  • Document all care provided in accordance with regulations
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate resident-centered care
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols

Key Duties

  • Oversee resident care and perform skilled nursing procedures
  • Delegate tasks to support staff and ensure timely completion
  • Provide education to residents, families, and staff
  • Ensure resident safety and well-being
  • Coordinate with medical professionals to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications & Skills

  • Valid RN license
  • Minimum one year of long-term care experience
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Technical and physical abilities required for patient care

Preferred: ACLS and other advanced certifications.
