About the role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a long-term care facility, providing patient-centered care in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Assessing residents' health
- Developing and implementing care plans
- Administering medications and treatments
- Supervising nursing staff
- Educating residents and families
- Responding effectively to emergencies
- Documenting care accurately
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of recent LTC RN experience
- Valid RN license in accordance with state regulations
- Current BLS/CPR certification
Preferred Skills
- ACLS certification and other facility-specific credentials
Essential Skills
- Critical thinking, effective communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and PC use
- Physical ability to assist with resident care and equipment handling
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to irregular schedules, and maintain attention to detail
