About the Role
Provide skilled nursing care in a long-term care facility, including assessing residents, developing care plans, administering medications and treatments, supervising staff, educating residents and families, documenting care, responding to emergencies, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Monitor resident health and implement personalized care plans
- Perform skilled nursing procedures
- Supervise and support nursing staff
- Educate residents and families on care and health management
- Document all care provided accurately and timely
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care
- Respond to medical emergencies and ensure adherence to safety protocols
Requirements
- One year of recent Long-Term Care (LTC) RN experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- ACLS certification preferred
- Demonstrated critical thinking and effective communication skills
- Physical stamina and technical proficiency in nursing procedures
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to safety protocols
