Travel Long Term Care (LTC) Physical Therapist - $1,940 per week

About the role

The client in NJ seeks a Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract position at a Long Term Care facility. The position requires 40 hours per week, working 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care in a LTC/SNF setting
• Adhere to established treatment protocols and guidelines
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Assess patients' physical capabilities and needs
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and treatments
• Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of NJ
• At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current CPR certification
• Experience with long-term care settings preferred

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
