About the role

TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Long Term Acute Care Speech Language Pathologist for a position in Saint Cloud, Minnesota.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech language therapy services to patients in a long term acute care setting.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Minnesota.
  • Experience working in long term acute care settings preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Passing score on the Praxis II exam or equivalent certification.
  • Current CPR certification.

Skills

  • Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR).

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 24 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
