About the role

TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Long Term Acute Care Speech Language Pathologist for a position in Seattle, Washington.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech language pathology services to patients in a Long Term Acute Care setting.
  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Washington.
  • Experience working in a Long Term Acute Care setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Passing score on the Praxis II exam or equivalent certification.
  • Current CPR certification.

Skills

  • Strong clinical skills in speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in using electronic medical records and other relevant software.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
