Overview
A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is available for a 13-week travel assignment starting on August 3, 2026, in Franconia, New Hampshire.
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor for effectiveness and adverse reactions under supervision
- Perform focused nursing assessments, document findings, and communicate changes in resident condition to the supervising nurse
- Implement and update care plans in collaboration with the care team, aimed at comfort, safety, and quality of life for residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide support to maintain dignity and independence
- Maintain resident safety, prevent falls, manage environmental risks, and respond promptly to emergencies during the shift
- Document nursing notes, vital signs, treatments, and handoffs accurately during shift change
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Hampshire
- Availability to work the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift and commit to a 13-week travel assignment
- Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
- Current CPR certification (or BLS) and ability to maintain certification as required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to document clearly and adhere to care plans
- Willingness to undergo standard onboarding and credentialing processes for travel assignments
