Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long Term Care Job

Travel assignment in Dubuque, Iowa lasting several weeks, starting September 14, 2026.

About the Role

This is a travel assignment in a long-term care (LTC) nursing home setting. The position offers guaranteed hours of 40 per week and the flexibility to work any shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor responses, and document outcomes accurately.
• Monitor vital signs, observe for changes in resident condition, and report concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans; participate in rounds and family communications.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges; support ongoing care planning and documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant nursing station; uphold infection control and quality standards.

Requirements

• Active LPN license in Iowa.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, resident-centered LTC environment.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work any shift and adapt to schedule changes.

Pay

Weekly pay: $1,505–$1,601 per week.
