Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long Term Care Job

Travel assignment in Newport, Vermont for an 8-week contract starting 08/31/2026 in a skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and nursing assessment for residents in long-term care
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse reactions
• Monitor resident status, vital signs, pain, wounds; report changes to supervising RN or physician
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update care plans and documentation
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility; promote safety and dignity
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols

Requirements

• Active Vermont LPN license
• LPN diploma from an accredited program
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of licensed practical nurse experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to perform duties in a fast-paced LTC setting
• Successful completion of background check and drug screen as part of the assignment process

Pay

• Weekly pay: $1,330 - $1,383
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Schedule

• 5x8 day shift
• 8-week contract duration
