Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - $3,105 per week

Job Summary

Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Reno, Nevada. This role involves providing high-quality care in a fast-paced, level 2 trauma center with a focus on maternal and neonatal health. The position requires adaptability to a busy environment and the ability to float to various maternal units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care in a fast-paced, level 2 trauma center with a focus on maternal and neonatal health.
• Adapt to a busy environment and float to various maternal units as needed, including postpartum (PP) and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
• Work 12-hour day shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with schedules varied based on department needs, including weekends, holidays, and call shifts.
• May be required to float to organizational needs up to competency level.
• May work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period.

Required Qualifications

• NV State Registered Nurse (RN) license prior to start.
• Certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in labor and delivery high-risk hospital setting.

Unit Description

High Risk Obstetrics department with 15 labor beds, 9 antepartum beds, and 3 operating room suites.
