Travel Labor and Delivery RN

Location: Trinity Health Ann Arbor • Start Date: ASAP • Duration: 13 weeks • Hours: 3×12-hour shifts • Shift: Night (7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.)

Gross Weekly Rate: $2,628 (applies only to nurses relocating to Michigan from out-of-state, more than 60 miles from home to hospital; cannot work in the same metropolitan area for more than 12 months to retain this rate).

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions as needed.
• Demonstrate standard elements of professional practice: assess, identify outcomes/solutions, plan, implement, evaluate.
• Practice independently and appropriately within license, scope of knowledge, and experience.
• Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality improvement practices and outcomes.
• Exhibit agility and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities.
• Embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele, and PCU.
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all other specialties, including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department, and Behavioral Health.
• Maintain credentials required per specialty (e.g., ACLS, TNCC).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.
