Travel Labor and Delivery RN

Responsibilities

• providing comprehensive care to women before, during, and after childbirth
• assisting physicians with procedures such as epidurals and cesareans
• monitoring labor progression
• supporting patient comfort
• maintaining a clean environment
• delivering immediate newborn care

Key duties

• monitor contractions
• assist with breathing techniques
• check cervix dilation
• aid in delivery preparations
• respond promptly to patient needs in a fast-paced setting

Qualifications

• minimum of 3 years recent acute care experience
• valid ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, NRP certifications

Skills

• ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds
• handle stress effectively
• communicate well with diverse populations
