About the role
Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) for travel assignments.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care and support to women before, during, and after childbirth.
- Monitor vital signs of mothers and newborns, identify potential high-risk issues, and educate families post-delivery.
- Care includes antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages, ensuring both medical and emotional needs are met throughout the birthing process.
- Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, assess high-risk conditions, support mothers and families, and ensure quality care during all stages of labor and delivery.
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN
- At least 18 months recent experience in an acute care Labor & Delivery setting
