This role involves providing comprehensive postpartum care in a labor and delivery unit. The nurse will support maternal and neonatal patients with a focus on postpartum recovery, education, and monitoring throughout the shift. Job Details Qualifications: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring, IV skills and lab draws, high risk medication administration (Magnesium, Oxytocin, Insulin), urine point of care testing, capillary blood glucose testing, IStat, adult cardiac monitoring, newborn monitors including pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring, heel sticks/venipuncture on newborn, newborn medication administration and maintenance, Bili-blankets/lights, radiant warmers, gyn teaching & post-operative bladder training, maternal-newborn teaching. Experience Requirements: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in a similar setting. Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field, minimum of three (3) years of labor and delivery experience, minimum of three (3) years of postpartum experience, minimum one (1) year of medical/surgical nursing experience.
