Job Summary

The Postpartum Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position in Wichita, Kansas involves working in a busy postpartum unit that delivers between 400-500 babies monthly. The role requires providing quality patient care in a high-risk environment, supporting breastfeeding, managing postpartum hemorrhage, and assisting with circumcisions.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of current acute care postpartum hospital experience
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-risk postpartum care
• Level 2 Nursery experience preferred

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
