Travel IMCU Registered Nurse - $3,320 per week

About the role

Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Nurse Nights at a healthcare facility with a 64-bed unit, including 15 designated neuro beds. The position starts on October 5, 2026, and runs through January 9, 2027, requiring adaptability to float across units and proficiency in clinical equipment and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to adult patients with neurological, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions
• Manage patients with diagnoses such as COPD, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), sepsis, myocardial infarction, cardiovascular step-down, and post-operative care
• Utilize specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, Bipap, and Neptune Vapo
• Provide chronic ventilator care with RT assistance
• Float rotation may be required

Requirements

• Valid NY Registered Nurse license
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Current National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
• Up-to-date resume with 2+ years of IMCU/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience
• Documented travel experience
• Valid driver’s license matching demographics

Schedule

• Nights
• 12-hour shifts
• Minimum of 48 hours per week
