Travel IMCU Registered Nurse - $3,165 per week

About the role

Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift located at a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a neuro-focused Intermediate Care Unit, with working hours on 12-hour night shifts. The position offers opportunities for orientation, charge responsibilities, and participation in holiday staffing assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized patient care in a neuro-focused Intermediate Care Unit.
• Participate in orientation sessions scheduled every other Monday.
• Assume charge responsibilities with appropriate pay differential and training.
• Participate in holiday staffing assignments (Christmas Day and/or New Year's Day).
• Care for patients with neuro, cardiac, and medical‑surgical conditions.

Requirements

• Active Virginia (VA) or Compact Nursing License.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an IMCU or similar unit.
• Completion of a skills checklist.
• Provide a copy of your Nursys verification or license.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a charge nurse role is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Cerner electronic health record system.

Schedule

• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift.
• Minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Orientation sessions occur every other Monday.
• Assignment duration approximately 20 weeks (about four months).
• Commitment to work at least one major holiday (Christmas Day and/or New Year's Day).
• Typical 2/3 weekend schedule, subject to change based on staffing needs.
• Limited RTO permitted with IVS offer.
• Cancellations possible up to 36 hours prior due to census changes.
