About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate Hospice RN for a travel position, responsible for providing end-of-life care in patients' homes or hospice settings.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans in collaboration with care teams
- Administering pain management and comfort interventions
- Educating and supporting families and caregivers
- Monitoring and adjusting care based on patient condition
- Coordinating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic, quality care
- Documenting all care activities accurately and adhering to regulations
- Providing emotional support and maintaining safety protocols
Requirements
- Minimum one year recent RN experience, including six months in hospice
- Valid RN license and BLS certification
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks and work effectively with diverse teams
- Proficiency in documentation, computer skills, and following instructions
- Ability to handle emotional and physical demands of hospice care
