Travel Hospice RN

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to provide end-of-life care in patients' homes or hospice settings. The role involves assessing patient needs, developing care plans, managing pain and symptoms, and educating families. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, patient-centered care while adhering to regulatory standards and hospice best practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient condition and administer treatments
• Document care and maintain accurate records
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Manage pain and symptoms effectively
• Offer emotional support to patients and families
• Educate families on patient care and end-of-life processes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• At least one year of recent RN experience
• Minimum six months of hospice or palliative care experience
