About the role
Provides compassionate end-of-life care in hospice settings, focusing on comfort, pain management, and emotional support.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and monitor condition changes
- Educate families on care techniques and emotional support
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
- Ensure accurate documentation and adhere to safety and regulatory standards
- Offer emotional support to patients and their families
Requirements
- At least one year of recent RN experience
- Six months of experience in hospice or palliative care
- Valid RN license
- BLS certification
Preferred candidates may hold additional certifications in hospice or related fields.

- Critical thinking and problem-solving
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to perform care tasks
- Proficiency with PC tools and electronic documentation
