About the role
Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) position in Portland, Oregon. This role involves providing compassionate end-of-life care to patients in a home health and hospice setting. The candidate will deliver personalized patient care, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and support patients and families through advanced directives and symptom management.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate end-of-life care to patients in a home health and hospice setting
- Deliver personalized patient care and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
- Support patients and families through advanced directives and symptom management
- Perform death pronouncement, death/dying counseling, and postmortem care
- Manage pain, provide IV therapy, and educate patients and families
- Conduct hospice-specific procedures and symptom management
- Occasional travel within a 50+ mile radius to serve patients in Oregon and Washington
Requirements
- Valid Oregon and Washington RN licensure
- BLS certification
- At least 1 year of skilled hospice experience
- Reliable transportation
- Strong clinical skills in home health/hospice
- Cultural awareness
- Experience with electronic charting systems (EPIC or similar preferred)
Schedule
- 8-hour day shifts
- 40 hours per week
- 13-week duration, starting 08/31/2026

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
