Job Summary

Hospice Nurse in South Portland, Maine. Full-time position providing compassionate hospice care to patients within their homes and supporting their families. Role requires clinical expertise in hospice services and the ability to work independently within a home health setting.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Please review facility fixed notes for additional details.
  • Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, with weekend and on-call rotations, typically within business hours of 8 AM to 5 PM, totaling 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.
  • Orientation: Scheduled for 1 week.

Required Qualifications

  • RN license for the State of Maine,
  • Valid drivers license,
  • Support skills for common hospice diagnoses including wound care, IV antibiotic teaching, and genitourinary care.
  • Experience in hospice care is preferred; first-time travelers considered only if they have home health experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hospice experience,
  • Home health background,
  • Ability to support other agency locations if census is low.

Pay Package
