Travel Hospice RN - $2,440 per week

Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) position in Morristown, New Jersey. This role involves providing comprehensive hospice care, including patient assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring effective communication within the interdisciplinary team. The RN will oversee medication reconciliation, educate patients and families, and participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes.

Schedule

• Day shift: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
• 37.5 hours per week
• Every other weekend with scheduled days off during the week

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive hospice care
• Conduct patient assessments
• Develop and implement care plans
• Ensure effective communication within the interdisciplinary team
• Oversee medication reconciliation
• Educate patients and families
• Participate in quality improvement activities

Requirements

• Two (2) years of experience as an RN in a home hospice environment
• Experience using an electronic medical record (EMR)
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
• Valid New Jersey RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Valid New Jersey driver's license
• Associates degree in Nursing (ASN) or diploma with RN licensure in New Jersey

Preferred Qualifications

• Three (3) or more years of RN experience in hospice care
