About the role

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. This position requires a dedicated healthcare professional passionate about providing high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment, managing a diverse range of medical emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients with various conditions, including trauma, cardiac issues, and other critical health concerns.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on the severity of their condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment and technology, including Epic charting systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Emergency Room nursing preferred.
• Valid NC State or compact RN license required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Charge Nurse experience is preferred.

Schedule

• Night shift position, working three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.
• Every other weekend (EOW) is required.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
