About the role
ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED – Emergency Department for a 13-week contract in Burlington, North Carolina.
Schedule
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour night shifts (19:00 – 07:30)
- Occasional 3 p.m. – 3 a.m. shifts as needed
- Up to every-other-weekend and holiday coverage required
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care in a fast-paced Emergency Department handling diverse medical emergencies (e.g., cancer, sepsis, behavioral health)
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in emergency situations
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Utilize EPIC for patient documentation and record-keeping
- Facilitate care for trauma, STEMI, and stroke patients
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Active RN license at time of submission
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
- Experience with EPIC charting system
- Prior experience in STEMI and stroke facilities preferred
